I was so excited to chat with psychoanalyst and activist Lara Sheehi that I forgot to bring up several topics I had intended to cover—ha! Oh well, connecting with Lara was a gift, and I’m thrilled with where our conversation took us.

Lara is a research fellow at the University of South Africa and a founding faculty director of the Psychoanalysis and the Arab World Lab. She is a co-author with Stephen Sheehi of Psychoanalysis under Occupation: Practicing Resistance in Palestine.
